| Being a Middle or High School student today is really tough in a culture that seems determined to tear students down and keep them from discovering God’s plan for their lives. Matt Pennington’s passion is to challenge students to know Christ and to make Him known to their friends through presenting Christ in a way that makes sense in their real life situations. Matt started his call to student ministry as an intern at Bethlehem Church while in college at Gardner-Webb University completing his B.A. in Religious Studies. Matt accepted the call to be the Bethlehem Student Pastor in December 2006. Matt is currently working on his Master’s in Theology degree at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.
